Credit Counselling Services of Peterborough helps people who are having problems managing their debt. Credit Counselling provides a range of services, from help with budgeting to negotiating repayment plans with creditors. Assistance Programs for Homeowners and Landlords [ back to top ]

Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP) (705) 876-7010
Wigwamen administers the federal Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RRAP) in Peterborough County. RRAP offers financial assistance for low and moderate income homeowners for repairs and modifications that will bring their homes up to acceptable health and safety standards. Contact Wigwamen for more information on Homeowner RRAP, RRAP for Persons with Disabilities, and the Emergency Repair Program (ERP).

CMHC Home Adaptations for Seniors' Independence (HASI) 1-800-704-6488
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) offers a program that helps homeowners and landlords pay for minor home adaptations to extend the time low-income seniors can live in their own homes independently.
