Open house at newly renovated Peterborough social services building

May 19th, 2017

There's a new look at the social services officers on Charlotte St., with $2.35 million in renovations and upgrades now complete.

An open house was held Thursday for the facility, which services city and county residents.

The work began in 2013 with Lett Architects handling the redesign of the existing four-storey building, with M.J. Dixon handling demolition and construction and Brant's Office Supply taking on the $631,000 furniture contract.

The building has about 125 employees and sees about 100 visitors a day.
